Key Responsibilities

  • Present and explain leasing terms and conditions to potential tenants, ensuring they understand the benefits and responsibilities of renting with The Bay.
  • Assist in completing and processing lease applications and agreements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Marketing and Outreach:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants, leveraging social media, online listings, and community outreach programs.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials, including online listings and social media posts, to promote our properties and attract potential tenants.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote our properties and build relationships with local residents.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities, including tenant applications, lease agreements, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with relevant housing laws and regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports on occupancy rates, leasing activities, and market trends, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant housing laws and regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in leasing, real estate, or property management, with a strong understanding of local market trends and housing laws.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with tenants, colleagues, and community members.
  • Proficiency in property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
  • Knowledge of local real estate market trends and housing laws, with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and customer service.
