Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
- Remove trash and soiled linens, and dispose of medical waste products in accordance with standard practices.
- Clean and wipe windows, floors, and other surfaces, and dust furniture and equipment.
- Respond to emergencies related to cleaning and maintenance in a medical environment.
- Document procedures for the disposal of medical waste products and ensure compliance with standard practices.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Good organizational skills and strong hygienic practices.
- Mathematical skills to mix cleaning agents appropriately.
- Ability to take the initiative and work autonomously.
- Knowledge of sterilizing equipment and basic safety procedures.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive disposition.
- Ability to work under exposure to dust and maintain an open mind to new skills and knowledge.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Bilingual preferred (ideally Spanish).
- Competitive base salary range of $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.
