Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. This includes performing daily ground inspections, managing repair and maintenance tasks, and handling apartment turnovers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform facility custodial duties, including cleaning and maintaining common areas and resident apartments.
  • Manage and respond to work orders in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records and collaborating with outside vendors as needed.
  • Conduct daily ground inspections to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the building and outside facilities.
  • Handle apartment turnovers, working with residents to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Be available for after-hours on-call duty, responding to maintenance requests and emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain professional relationships with senior residents, handling difficult situations with empathy and discretion.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
