Job Description

As a Technical Application Manager at Insight Global, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's systems and applications. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the technical aspects of our applications, including design, development, installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, and operations, to ensure that our applications meet the required standards of performance, availability, security, and operational reliability. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and release management will be essential in driving the successful delivery of software releases for our company.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable, available, and elastic solutions using cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS, MS Azure, and GCP.
  • Managing and provisioning computer data centers through machine-readable definition files using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
  • Installing and configuring cloud resources in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including tagging, access, and monitoring.
  • Utilizing DevOps best practices for source control repositories, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Developing pragmatic secure solutions, unit and integration tests, and DevOps pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of Cloud Admin experience required.
  • 1-2 years of on-prem/cloud application development.
  • Experience working with AWS resources such as API Gateway, Lambda, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route53, Kinesis, SQS, EC2, IAM, etc.
  • Experience working with application development technologies such as ASP.Net Core, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Relational Databases, No-SQL Databases, Azure DevOps, GIT, etc.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems CLIs, scripting, logging, monitoring, etc.
  • Experience using industry admin and developer tools, such as IDEs, consoles, management studios, test-suites, diagramming and documentation tools, ticketing system, time-reporting system, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree is required. Computer Science, Business Administration, Cloud Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field preferred.
