Anesthesia Technician

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in their clinical roles.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, care for, and maintain all anesthesia equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Inventory and order supplies from purchasing, storeroom, and pharmacy as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the hospital Purchasing and Biomedical Engineering Departments to arrange for preventive maintenance, scheduling of service contract QC inspections/repairs, as well as emergency repairs and requests for loaner equipment, etc. as needed.
- Perform light maintenance and calibrations of equipment as specified by manufacturer and approved by the Biomedical Engineering Department.
- Assist in the provision of basic nursing care to assigned patients.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Anesthesia Technician preferred.
- Must be self-directed and work well independently.
