Job Title: Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Landmark Construction Company, Inc.

Job Summary

The Field Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site administrative and technical management on construction projects. This includes ensuring a safe work environment, managing project schedules, and coordinating with engineers, owners, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and comply with company Health, Safety, & Environmental Program, Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace, and Harassment Free Work Environment Program
  • Understand and enforce safe work practices and personal protective equipment required for employees
  • Inspect the worksite daily and ensure a safe work environment
  • Report all accidents and incidents to Superintendent and a Safety Representative, regardless of how minor, as soon as possible and assist in investigation
  • Manage project schedules, including planning, coordinating, and tracking progress
  • Coordinate with engineers, owners, and subcontractors to ensure project completion
  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including as-built drawings and reports
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of construction experience or combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principals, methods, and standards of the designated trades area
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
  • Performs work in accordance with standards and specifications
  • Physical ability to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
  • Work involves sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and/or carry weights of five to fifty pounds
