Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the GI Lab at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. As a GI Lab Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our GI Lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement education plans to promote patient understanding and self-care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address potential safety risks and concerns.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Arkansas.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within one year of hire.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • GI certification.
  • Experience working in a GI Lab or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
