Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PreOp PACU department. As a RN PreOp PACU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from the preoperative to the postoperative phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
  • Current state licensure to practice nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
