  • Monitor Quality Metrics and Trends: Analyze coding data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address any issues.
  • Perform Coding Quality Audits: Conduct thorough reviews of medical records to ensure accurate coding and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Management and Staff: Work closely with department leaders and staff to implement coding education initiatives and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of the latest coding guidelines, regulations, and best practices to ensure our coding practices remain current and compliant.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • ~2+ Years of Coding Experience in a multi-specialty group practice
  • AAPC Coding Certification(s) (CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P)
  • Experience with Healthcare Coding and Documentation Audits
