Job Summary
Greif, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret job specifications will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery to produce high-quality parts within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  • Maintain logs and records of units produced, reporting any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, performing basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area, adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
  • Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
