Partner with a dedicated service team to provide outstanding service to clients.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary or co-relationship manager for client engagements
Formulate and implement a business development strategy that delivers results and meets sales objectives for the designated area
Build internal and external networks and referral sources to expand business
Work alongside internal partners and specialists in trust & estate, investment management, and wealth planning to create a comprehensive wealth strategy for clients that addresses their unique financial needs
Collaborate with clients' other advisors (such as attorneys or CPAs) to facilitate wealth planning and track progress
Develop asset allocation models and provide recommendations and narratives that align with clients' objectives and drive decision-making
Design, manage, and oversee clients' investment portfolios in accordance with allocation and risk management guidelines
Gain deep understanding of the value proposition, solutions, capabilities, and key narratives regarding Capital Group's investment philosophies, processes, and policies
Stay informed about market trends and economic conditions, and be prepared to share insights or present market updates/outlooks
Build rapport and trust through engaging discovery conversations to identify client needs and concerns, enabling you to diagnose, propose solutions, and resolve clients' wealth management challenges
Adhere to risk and compliance protocols to ensure the protection of clients' assets, maintain their confidentiality, act in their best interests, and ensure effective operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. CFP, CFA, or MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in wealth management or a related field with a proven interest in business development.
Proficient in social media and LinkedIn.
Ability to establish a new referral network capable of generating business.
Actively involved in the community, engaged with charitable organizations, and capable of cultivating a strong network of affluent individuals who appreciate the expertise you provide.
The Wealth Management Consultant serves as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to sophisticated high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
Effective communication and presentation skills adaptable to various audiences, both internal and external.Demonstrated service orientation and ability to build strong relationships, both externally and internally. Experience in completing timely, accurate, and compliant client and account activities with minimal supervision.
Willingness to pursue additional training and licensing as necessary.
Capital Group is required by state-specific laws to include the salary for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.
Specific compensation for the role may vary within the above range based on numerous factors including candidate experience and skills.
Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
In addition, employees are eligible for a standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental, and retirement.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions, and vesting requirements, you will also be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, along with a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
