Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Schenker & Co AG. As a key member of our inventory management processes, you will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate tracking and organization of inventory through effective product identification programs.
  2. Conduct thorough research to identify and correct any discrepancies in inventory levels, minimizing the risk of errors and inaccuracies.
  3. Implement strategies to log and control aged product, preventing expiration and waste while optimizing storage capacity.
  4. Regularly monitor stock counts and physical inventory to maintain accuracy and reconcile any differences.
  5. Analyze data to produce partial pallet reports for consolidation, reducing excess inventory and improving storage efficiency.
  6. Coordinate daily tasks, workloads, and staffing with the inventory supervisor to ensure seamless operations.
  7. Delegate warehouse tasks in assigned areas, working collaboratively with the inventory supervisor and team members.
  8. Maintain a safe, clean, and secure working environment by adhering to safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory accurately.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the inventory supervisor and other team members to achieve shared goals.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications. With a focus on maintaining high-quality work and adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment that supports professional growth and development.
