Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing sterile operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and stocking supplies. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, providing support during procedures, and tracking surgical supplies. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. You will also need to be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff. **Requirements:**

* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
* Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
* National Institutes of Health (NIH)
* Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Ability to stand for extended periods
* Strong technical skills
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Requires a minimum of two years of Certified Surgical Tech experience
* Graduate from a fully accredited Certified Surgical Tech program
* Active unencumbered Surgical Tech Indiana state license

* Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills
* Participates in relevant continuing education programs
* Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
* Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise
* A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital
* Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks
