Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced X-ray Technician to join our medical team at Lafayette Pain Care, which operates two ambulatory surgical centers in Lafayette and Kokomo. The ideal candidate should be able to work in both locations, with a primary focus on Kokomo and one day per week in Lafayette. We primarily use a C-ARM in our operating rooms, so experience with C-ARM imaging is a plus. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate medical imaging services. If you have a strong background in anatomy and physiology, along with proficiency in C-ARM imaging techniques, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using fluoroscopy X-ray equipment

- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety

- Position patients correctly to obtain the necessary images

- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring its proper functioning

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze images and provide accurate diagnostic evaluations

- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical imaging technology

Requirements:

- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician

- Proficiency in performing X-ray using a C-ARM

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology

- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.27 - $32.51 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
