Job Overview

Position Summary:

Rehabilitation Associates is dedicated to transforming patient care within skilled rehabilitation and inpatient rehabilitation environments. We are in search of a qualified advanced practice provider (APP) who has demonstrated expertise in caring for the elderly population, preferably with experience in physiatry, internal medicine, orthopedics, sports medicine, or neurology. The successful candidate will possess leadership skills and thrive in a collaborative interdisciplinary team atmosphere.

Role Responsibilities:

In this clinical role, the APP will take charge of our physiatry consultation service within a subacute rehabilitation facility. Responsibilities include conducting patient rounds, maintaining daily documentation, and addressing medical challenges that may hinder rehabilitation progress, such as acute pain, insomnia, and incontinence. The APP will collaborate closely with the primary medical team and engage with the therapy team (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology) to evaluate and document patients' functional advancements.

The APP will also participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to review all patients, focusing on discharge barriers and current progress.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary based on a 4 or 5-day work week, with shifts ranging from 6 to 8 hours per day, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance.

Incentives are available based on RVUs.
