Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled physician to join our team at Rehabilitation Associates, a leading multispecialty group in New England. As a BC/BE Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics Fellowship trained physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients in post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, and assisted living centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a seasoned team of Advanced Practice Providers to manage patient care
  • Provide care for subacute and long-term care patients, seeing approximately 15-20 patients per week
  • Perform regulatory visits and oversee new patient admissions in the subacute rehabilitation unit
  • Participate in rehospitalization, acute care transfer, and quality assurance meetings to maintain and improve patient care
  • Complete required documentation, including patient admission and progress notes
Requirements:
  • MD or DO with a valid Maine medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related field
  • Prior experience in subacute or long-term care settings is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
