Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Dearborn Hospital. As a RN in our Progressive Care and Med Surg unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans, incorporating patient and family-centered care principles.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred within 5 years.
  • Current MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire; AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
