RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Evaluates farms to ensure adherence to contractual and cooperative standards.

  • Provides guidance to farmers on enhancement programs aimed at producing superior poultry products.
  • Facilitates safety training sessions.
  • Manages and/or oversees the transfer of pullets.
  • Conducts field vaccinations and/or administers treatments.
  • Weighs, handles, and assesses pullets, hens, and roosters.
  • Monitors and analyzes hen productivity metrics.
  • May gather and transport eggs while monitoring hatch rates.
  • May organize and mentor other staff members.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The role necessitates the application of various procedures, policies, and standards. Moderate analytical skills are essential for interpreting guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as for collecting and analyzing data in moderately complex situations. Operates under limited supervision with periods of relative independence and general oversight. The position allows for the selection of methods/processes within defined broad objectives and procedures to accomplish tasks. May occasionally lead or supervise others.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Regular exposure to moderate temperatures, humidity, and unpleasant air conditions. May involve routine contact with soiled materials and mild chemical substances such as cleaning agents.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience generally requires more than 2 up to 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. EOE/Vet/Disabled
