Job Summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency tests on blood and other body fluids using automated and manual instrumentation.
  • Maintain equipment and records according to department procedures and regulatory agencies guidelines.
  • Use independent judgment to solve technical and procedural problems.
  • Assist with training new employees and provide leadership for technicians.
  • Maintain a clean work area in accordance with Infection Control guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a physical science or medical technology.
  • New York State Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or a limited permit.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
