About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Autonomous Vehicle Operator to join our team at Manpower Engineering. As an AVO, you will be responsible for driving and operating our autonomous vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate autonomous vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct software and hardware testing to ensure vehicle readiness
  • Represent the company as a brand ambassador to the public
  • Assist and interact with multiple teams across the company, including computer vision, infrastructure, and sound design
  • Support vehicle operations and maintenance
  • Conduct daily basic vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs
  • Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment
  • Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and the workplace
Requirements
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 45 words per minute
  • Must be tech-savvy and able to learn quickly
  • Must be able to clear a background and drug screen
  • Must have a clear DMV record with no more than 1 point
  • Must have a minimum of 3 consecutive years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
  • Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated for this position
Training and Development
  • Full training will be provided
  • Training hours will be the same as your shift
  • Training is typically 46 weeks

Compensation and Benefits
  • Day shift: $29/hour before and after training
  • Swing shift: $29/hour during training and $30.45/hour after training
  • Complementary catered lunch/dinner, including free snacks and beverages
