Job Description

At Visiting Angels, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Caregiver to provide essential assistance and support to seniors in their homes. This is a part-time position with up to full-time hours available, depending on flexibility, availability, and demand.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Issue medication reminders, when needed
  • Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments
  • Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Provide mobility assistance, such as assisting with walking and transfers

Requirements:

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
  • CNA license preferred, but not required
  • Able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
  • Must have valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of current auto insurance

We are looking for a candidate who is reliable, trustworthy, and passionate about helping seniors. This position may require travel to Lancaster, PA and its surrounding communities.
