Role Summary:
The Director of Third Party Partnerships will spearhead the development and management of pivotal relationships with key external partners to stimulate sales growth and amplify market visibility. This position will centralize leadership for all third-party affiliations within PurposeBuilt Brands, guiding the external formulation of the company's merchandising strategy and working closely with internal teams to ensure effective partnership implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in sales and partnership management within the consumer packaged goods sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team dedicated to enhancing third-party relationships and bolstering internal initiatives that support these partners.
- Oversee the external creation of future merchandising strategies, performance metrics, and execution plans.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key partners, ensuring mutual benefits and long-term collaboration.
- Assess third-party partnership requirements and spearhead the development of new agreements and their implementation.
- Monitor the execution and performance of partnership agreements, ensuring adherence to contractual commitments.
- Centralize internal communication, reporting, and contract management for third-party partners.
- Evaluate capabilities and provide support across internal stakeholders.
- Identify untapped channels or trade classes.
- Recommend adjustments to contracts to benefit both PurposeBuilt Brands and third-party partners.
- Analyze data to monitor and report on order trends for timely decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver regular performance reports on partnerships to senior leadership.
- Act with urgency to ensure operational plans are executed, performance targets are met, and cross-functional teams are informed.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in sales and partnership management within the consumer goods or household products sector.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in people management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
