Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trailer Rebuild Shop Assistant to join our team at Prime. As a key member of our shop team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized working environment, performing daily inspections, and assisting with various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our rebuild shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize shop performance and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform daily inspections on company equipment and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Transport parts to and from the fabrication shop as needed
  • Assist with sweeping, organizing, and receiving parts inventory
  • Deliver pallets to other departments and perform various other tasks as required
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists
  • Proficiency in operating a forklift and ability to obtain a Class E license within 30 days
  • Ability to perform minor welding and mechanical tasks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Environment

This is a fast-paced, results-oriented environment that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to lift and carry 100lbs, push 50lbs, and pull 100lbs, and will be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
