About the Role

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist III to join our team in the Main Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgery, including arranging equipment and instruments.
  • Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons during procedures.
  • Perform intraoperative counts and label all medication.
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including washing and disinfecting incision sites.
  • Transport patients to and from surgery.
  • Assist in storing and stocking supplies, including maintaining and updating surgeons' preference lists.
  • Improve the accuracy of patient identification and reduce the risk of patient harm resulting from falls.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational or technical diploma required.
  • Three years of experience in surgical procedures.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
