At the University of Cincinnati, we are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

This role is a critical component of our department's operations, providing high-level administrative support to our executive leadership team. As an Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing complex calendars, arranging travel, processing expense reports, and tracking receipts.

You will also support project management tasks, including tracking progress, updating timelines, and coordinating team members as needed. Additionally, you will organize meetings, retreats, and symposium by setting agendas, booking meeting rooms, arranging technology, ensuring materials are ready, and taking and distributing minutes.

This position requires a high degree of responsibility, accountability, flexibility, confidentiality, and discretion. You will work closely with our Director and Vice Chair of Research, as well as high-ranking university, College of Medicine, and UC Health officials. You will also interface with organizations outside of the university, such as non-profit foundations, professional organizations, drug development companies, and governmental agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and eight years of relevant work experience. Some positions may require experience in university administration. A competitive salary range of $65,000-$90,000 per year will be offered, depending on the candidate's experience.
