POSITION: BANQUET COOK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of proteins, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients necessary for both regular service and special events.
  • Ensure all meats, poultry, and seafood are properly covered, dated, and stored in an organized manner.
  • Inform the Sous Chef proactively about any anticipated shortages of supplies.
  • Comply with all local and state health and food safety standards.
  • Provide suggestions for the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment and workspaces.
  • Support the Sous Chef with additional tasks as required.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and potential overtime as necessary.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a hot, humid, and noisy kitchen environment.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods.
