About the Role
  • This position involves providing technical and process support across multiple departments, including Line Production, R&D, Service, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning.

Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing continual leadership to improve quality and reduce cost of manufacturing processes as a member of the Manufacturing Engineering team.
  2. Management of Manufacturing Engineering projects, including drafting and mechanical design.
  3. Drafting and Mechanical Design – including ECO drafting support, design and creation of tooling and fixtures, continuing engineering mechanical design changes, and supplying mechanical and materials expertise to the team.
  4. Life-cycle support, including production, process, and service support, new product introduction (NPI) support, process improvements, and continuing engineering.
  5. Mechanical assembly troubleshooting, traditional manufacturing engineering, including documentation and change orders (ECOs), and supplier, vendor, and customer technical support.
Requirements
  • A 4-year degree, preferably in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • At least two years' experience working in a professional environment.
  • Fixture Design Experience, experience with Engineering Change Orders, and experience writing Work Instructions/Manufacturing Routers.
  • Competency with SolidWorks or other drafting software – minimum one year experience, competency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel), and fluent English with above-average writing skills.
