Senior Mechanical Design Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in product design, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your expertise will be essential in creating complex mechanical components, managing budgets, and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates mechanical engineering assignments with clear objectives and proposed solutions.
  • Oversees all mechanical engineering aspects of assigned areas, focusing on high-quality results and strategic planning.
  • Create drawings according to Company standards and using GD&T (Plastic, Sheet Metal, Shafts, etc).
  • Participate in FMEA reviews.

Skill Requirements:

  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to drive project success.
  • Expertly conducts tolerance analyses and creates design specifications.
  • Lays out plans for individual work and supports project planning for mechanical engineering activities.
  • Dreams up innovative design solutions and brings them to life through concept development.
  • Crafts detailed designs, performs thorough analysis, tests prototypes, and maintains accurate documentation.
  • Systematically identifies root causes, proposes optimal solutions, and validates their efficacy.
  • Provides regular progress updates.
  • Delivers outstanding performance, adhering to schedule and budget targets.
  • Employs industry-standard best practices to boost project outcomes.
  • Translates concepts into tangible reality through hands-on prototype development and testing.
  • Promotes teamwork and collaboration within the organization.
  • Leverages advanced analytical tools to guide decision-making.
  • Applies rigorous methodologies to ensure consistency in the development process.
  • Utilizes NX CAD software and other essential productivity tools.

Estimated Salary: $95-$125 per hour.
