Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor - Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department at Stonebridge Companies. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Supervise and direct a team of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area attendants.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify that all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports on housekeeping operations and communicate with other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform other physical demands consistent with cleaning assigned rooms.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
