Job Summary:

This position, under the supervision of the Program Director, is responsible for managing a caseload and supervising the work of other employment resource counselors. The Senior Employment Resource Manager will coordinate all employment resources issues related to the residents and provide leadership through supervision, training, and role modeling. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as employment principles and acceptable work ethics. Additionally, they will have the ability to develop and maintain a directory of bona-fide employers, analyze needs, and provide development for residents' job/vocational readiness.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a directory of employers
Provide leadership and supervision to employment counselors
Train new employment counselors
Interpret and implement contract rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Analyze needs and provide development for residents' job/vocational readiness
Participate in team initiatives
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, residents, and employers
Manage a flexible work schedule, including some travel
Multi-task, meet deadlines, and work under changing priorities
Provide back-up for the Director, Employment as needed
Meet reporting requirements accurately and timely
Maintain contracting agency clearance requirements
Maintain a valid driver's license in good standing

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or a Social Science and three years of relevant work experience in an adult human service environment. Supervisory experience is a plus.
