K2 Construction LLC is seeking a skilled Underground Utility Pipeline Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining underground utility systems, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Install and lay out underground pipelines, following specifications and blueprints.
- Cut and prepare pipes for installation, ensuring accurate lengths and alignments.
- Connect and seal pipe joints, using welding equipment and other materials.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as excavators, backhoes, and motor graders, to excavate and prepare trenches.
- Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in underground utility pipeline installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of industry-standard hand signals and communication protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to inclement weather and varying terrain.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing.
