Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Operations: Operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist warehouse employees in preparing items for delivery, including packing products and sorting delivery items by route.
  • Customer Service: Verify all product is delivered against shipping documents provided and obtain customer signature on appropriate documentation.
  • Return Items: Transport return items from customer to warehouse.
  • Route Optimization: Ability to efficiently deliver to multiple routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: Must hold a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Delivery Area Knowledge: Must be familiar with delivery area.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move up to 100 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Background Check: Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organization skills.
  • Reliability: Reliable and dependable.
Work Environment:
  • Physical Demands: The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.
