Our skilled and innovative architects collaborate closely with clients throughout the design journey to bring a shared vision to life.

We provide a comprehensive suite of services, from initial planning and feasibility assessments to final design and construction oversight for various projects, including full build-outs, renovations, and adaptive reuse.

Our focus areas encompass commercial development, warehousing, pre K-12 and higher education, science and technology, municipal and public works, corporate facilities, and retail sectors.


Our in-house team, consisting of architects, interior designers, engineers, and planners, expertly balances design limitations with client aspirations and outcomes, resulting in collaborative, dynamic, and timeless designs.

We also offer mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design; programming, corporate branding, standards integration, workstation specification, facilities management, energy solutions, and LEED certification.

We take pride in delivering innovative, sustainable, and award-winning results.

Responsibilities:
Foster an inter-disciplinary and collaborative design culture among colleagues.

Lead, oversee, and coordinate project activities effectively.


Act as the Project Architect and Architect of Record (AOR) for most projects; a separate project architect may be designated based on project size and complexity.

Ensure the successful execution of projects under your management.

Serve as the primary design liaison for clients and oversee the preparation of construction documents.

Delegate tasks and supervise the work of design and production staff.


Facilitate all communication between clients and Colliers Engineering & Design, ensuring timely resolution of client concerns and management of business matters, including contracts and additional services.

Provide clear and timely feedback to the project team.


Monitor the performance of the project team to ensure adherence to quality standards and design objectives.

Organize and document regular project-related meetings, including those with clients, internal teams, and consultants.

Implement risk management strategies by addressing client and technical issues promptly to minimize liability.

Integrate design and technical elements seamlessly throughout the project.


Initiate, document, and maintain project setup, including contract reviews, project processes, filing procedures, work authorizations, and assist accounting with timely invoice distribution.


Accountable for meeting or exceeding the financial targets set for the project and providing timely information to Accounting for invoicing.

Maintain direct contact with clients and associated consultants to ensure timely collections and manage accounts receivable.

Ensure the thorough preparation, distribution, and retention of all project documentation.

Possess a solid understanding of design philosophies, overall building design concepts, design software, and delivery methods.

Recognize and respond to the technical implications of design decisions.


Define, monitor, and maintain control over the project scope, including schedules and work plans.

Prepare proposals, fees, schedules, and contracts for clients and consultants.

Exhibit integrity, trust, and commitment in all professional interactions.

Encourage a positive office culture and mentorship within the organization.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of architectural experience.

A Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited institution is required.

NCARB Certification completed or in progress.

Architecture Licensure is mandatory.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is advantageous.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for effective communication in job-related contexts.

Compensation:
$100,468 - $124,800, depending on qualifications.
