Essential Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Valid Medical Doctor license in Texas
  • Current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Preferred: CPE and FACHE certifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in a Clinical Specialty

Experience and Skills:
  • Ten years of experience, including five years as a practicing physician in the relevant specialty and five years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong financial management and change leadership skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written
  • Proven teamwork skills to enhance collaboration among multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated success in medical management and collaborative work with physicians
  • Project management expertise with a focus on performance measurement and goal achievement
  • Visionary and results-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated leader with the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in navigating complex decision-making processes
  • Experience with advanced information systems in clinical settings

Principal Accountabilities:
Performance Management:
  • Participate in governing councils for performance analytics and process improvement.
  • Review data analytics quarterly with providers and regional directors.
  • Collaborate on annual performance reviews and quality performance incentives.
  • Contribute to the development of the dyadic management model.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Quality and Safety:
  • Work with leadership to review and update quality indicators.
  • Implement clinical practice guidelines and workflows.

Customer Service:
  • Promote provider collaboration in patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Enhance customer service strategies in collaboration with HR and regional teams.

Operational Efficiency:
  • Lead implementation of clinical workflow projects.
  • Collaborate on patient management strategies and supply chain management.

Human Relations:
  • Develop physician satisfaction initiatives.
  • Mentor regional leaders in professional development.

Network Development:
