Position Summary

The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the store. This position involves motivating the sales team, implementing business strategies, and training new staff members. The Assistant Store Manager is tasked with overseeing daily store activities, ensuring a seamless and effective operation. Upholding our ethos of Pride in Self, Pride in Military, and Pride in Country, we strive to create a welcoming environment for every guest, making them feel like part of our family.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining store inventory.
  • Train new employees and offer ongoing education for the team.
  • Implement promotional events tailored to the retail space.
  • Maintain a clean and visually appealing retail environment.
  • Execute business strategies to attract new clientele.
  • Safeguard assets and train staff to minimize loss.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer and technology applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Basic administrative skills, including printing and scanning.
  • Strong communication abilities.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail setting, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
  • Competent in computer usage.
  • Familiarity with the Grunt Style brand and its ethos.

Supervisory Duties

Provide training and mentorship to team members for continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements

This position is active and requires minimal sitting.

Travel Requirements

No travel is anticipated for this role.
