Position Overview:

Wells Fargo is in search of a Senior Specialist in Aging and Longevity Growth, possessing extensive expertise in gerontology, financial advisory, housing logistics, healthcare, and various other essential services for aging clients. This role is pivotal in assisting advisors and relationship managers to guide clients through their financial journeys as they age.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage comprehensive knowledge of current research, regulations, products, trends, and advancements in aging and financial decision-making to enhance organizational capabilities, promote financial health, and refine business strategies.
  • Influence or develop research initiatives to elevate the firm's thought leadership in Financial Advisory and Planning.
  • Establish a cohesive perspective on how the behaviors of aging consumers affect their financial security, retirement planning, estate management, healthcare needs, emotional wellness, and preparedness for cognitive decline.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that will inform the creation of innovative advisory tools and resources, serving as a subject matter expert on the accuracy and relevance of advisory content.
  • Craft presentations to convey insights on aging consumers to various stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, advisors, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams across the organization, including Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, and other divisions.


Essential Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Growth Strategy or equivalent, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in financial markets, gerontology, longevity planning, housing and transportation, healthcare, family dynamics, estate planning, and other aging-related areas.
  • Strong proficiency in quantitative research methodologies and statistical analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
  • Understanding of elder abuse issues.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting research and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated capacity to implement innovative business strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced degree (MA or PhD) in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
  • Relevant industry credentials such as CFP, JD, or Gerontology certifications.

Job Expectations:
