Position Title:

FMS Logistics Manager

KBR is in search of an FMS Logistics Manager to enhance our operations. As a prominent entity in the logistics sector, we provide comprehensive support to both governmental and commercial organizations, specifically focusing on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics services for various aviation initiatives.

In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO), which comprises a diverse team of government, military, contractor, and industry professionals, dedicated to advancing FMS logistics projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, coordinate, and offer insights on international program logistics needs throughout the life cycle of an international program, encompassing business development, case formulation, execution, and conclusion.
  • Oversee and manage intricate FMS program initiatives.
  • While the majority of the work will be performed on-site, occasional domestic and international travel may be necessary to support logistics functions.
  • Provide Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services across 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements for both new and existing FMS clients. This includes logistics support throughout all phases of the acquisition life cycle, from initial program support to sustainment and eventual disposal. Familiarity with the 12 IPS elements is essential, which include: Product/Program Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning & Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Technical Data (TD) Management; Support Equipment; Training & Training System Support; Manpower & Personnel; Facilities & Infrastructure; Computer Resources and Design Interface.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline along with 5 years of experience in logistics, program management, technical, or business analysis. Alternatively, 13 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Proven experience in analyzing and implementing international program logistics requirements throughout the program life cycle.
  • An active secret level security clearance is required. The selected candidate may undergo a government security review and must meet the criteria for access to classified information.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for the role.
  • Capability to operate effectively at remote work locations with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar productivity software is essential.
