Position Title:

FMS Logistics Manager

KBR is looking for an FMS Logistics Manager to enhance our logistics capabilities. As part of a leading independent logistics organization, you will contribute to the support of both government and commercial sectors, focusing on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics services for various aviation programs.

As a key player in the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO), you will collaborate with a diverse team of government, military, contractor, and industry professionals to drive FMS logistics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, coordinate, and implement logistics requirements for international programs throughout their life cycle, encompassing business development, case formulation, execution, and closure.
  • Oversee and manage intricate FMS program operations.
  • While the majority of work will be conducted on-site, occasional domestic and international travel may be necessary to support logistics functions.
  • Provide comprehensive Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) support services across 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements for both new and existing FMS clients. This includes all stages of the acquisition life cycle, from initial logistics support to sustainment and disposal. Familiarity with the 12 IPS elements is essential, which include: Product/Program Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning & Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Technical Data (TD) Management; Support Equipment; Training & Training System Support; Manpower & Personnel; Facilities & Infrastructure; Computer Resources and Design Interface.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, program management, technical, or business analysis roles. Alternatively, 13 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing logistics recommendations and implementing international program requirements throughout the program life cycle.
  • An active secret level security clearance is required. The selected candidate may undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for the role.
  • Capability to work effectively at remote locations without direct supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar productivity software is necessary.
