Nurse - Infusion Specialist

Job Summary:
Cary Medical Center is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse to join our Oncology team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer chemotherapy and infusion medications according to established nursing standards and hospital policy.
2. Perform patient and family education, symptom management, and patient follow-up as needed.
3. Maintain a working knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and associated side effects.
4. Demonstrate knowledge and skill in safe handling and disposal of all drugs, including chemotherapy/biotherapy agents.
Requirements:
1. Active RN license.
2. Ability to administer care according to established nursing standards and hospital policy.
3. Knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and associated side effects.
4. Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
