About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice team in Waco, Texas.

Job Summary

As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will coordinate patient care with a patient-centered approach, evaluating health responses and developing care plans to track patient progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and revise care plans to achieve patient outcomes
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, including delicate indicators
  • Support evidence-based practice changes through research and quality/performance improvement initiatives
  • Create a safe, helpful environment for patients, families, and team members
  • Build therapeutic relationships, manage pain, and set boundaries to succeed in this role
  • Maintain patient and family privacy, autonomy, dignity, and rights
  • Help educate patients, families, and team members to make informed choices about healthcare and treatments
Requirements
  • BSN Required
  • One year relevant work experience required in Hospice or Home Health
  • Must be a registered nurse
  • Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
