Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be a true team player with a commitment to success, and have leadership skills to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

This position provides consultation and direction around Microsoft security solutions to meet strategic and tactical business goals for customers. Responsibilities may include:
  • Generating enterprise-grade architectural designs for M365 security solutions and overseeing their implementation by junior team members
  • Implementing M365 security solutions to meet customer needs and align with best practices
  • Assisting with the management and successful completion of project initiatives on-time and within budget, assisting with project plans and maintaining project schedules
  • Identifying and pursuing additional opportunities with clients
  • Transferring knowledge to customers as part of the delivery of services
  • Mentoring less experienced consultants and interns
  • Ensuring targeted delivery of solutions to meet customer desired business outcomes
  • Seeking new business opportunities with existing clients and sharing ideas with Account Executive and Principal team members
  • Handling routine customer issues and managing customer expectations, assisting more junior consultants as needed
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent (5 years) experience/knowledge with Microsoft security platforms
  • Deep knowledge of at least one of the following solutions: Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender suite
  • At least 5 years of experience with standard networking, server OS skills, client OS skills, and understanding of common scripting
  • Ability to travel, overnight, and up to 25%
  • Ability to travel independently to client sites, with a valid driver's license or reliable method of transportation
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will also have:
  • Certifications in Microsoft security solutions, such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300), Microsoft Certified: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect (SC-100), Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate (MS-500), and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Ancillary solutions experience, including 3rd party EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, and similar solutions
