Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the acquisition and management of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for outpatient pharmacy services.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of required medications and supplies.
- Effectively utilize distribution and storeroom personnel.
- Regularly assess and enhance purchasing and inventory management systems.
- Emphasize cost efficiency and improvement in service delivery.
- Support the Director in managing departmental attendance and scheduling.
- Engage in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance assessment of pharmacy staff.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role.
- PTCB certification and a valid NYS Pharmacy Technician license.
- Experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy settings.
- Preferred experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
- Familiarity with 340B program regulations is a plus.
