Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our production team in achieving exceptional quality, productivity, and safety standards. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct work activity of team members in assigned areas, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting productivity targets.
  • Develop and implement standardized work instructions, ensuring process stability and quality standards.
  • Identify and eliminate waste, champion Lean Kaizen events, and participate in cost-reduction programs to drive measurable improvements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to coordinate new product launches, perform capacity analysis, and determine staffing requirements.
  • Ensure quality standards are met, troubleshoot scheduling and material issues, and communicate with customers to establish effective relationships.
  • Promote and enforce compliance of safety policies and procedures, conduct safety investigations and audits, and address safety non-compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
  • Three years of previous manufacturing supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, proficient computer skills, and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds.
