Nail Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nail Technician to join our team at Northern Quest Resort & Casino. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nail care services to our guests, ensuring a relaxing and beneficial experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies and procedures.
  • Provide timely and high-quality nail care services.
  • Knowledge of nail products, procedures, and protocols.
  • Focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.
  • Ensure professional conversation at all times.
  • Promote positive relations with all individuals.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
  • Sell nail and hair products.
  • Perform a minimum of six treatments per shift.
  • Keep nail station and salon clean.
  • Access data in computer.
  • Start and end nail treatments on time.
  • Set up workstation with necessary supplies.
  • Greet each guest with a warm welcome.
  • Accommodate all guest requests.
  • Handle guest complaints.
  • Complete requisitions for additional supplies.
  • Escort guests to and from service areas.
  • Use nail products provided by Current Spa only.
  • Dispose of dirty linens to the proper area.
  • Perform tasks deemed necessary by management.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain a good attendance record.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Certification from a recognized Beauty School or state license.
  • One year experience in a similar position in the Spa/Salon industry.
  • Certified in Basic First Aid and CPR.
  • State cosmetology license required.
  • Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
  • Hepatitis B shots.
  • Job offer contingent upon successful completion of background check and pre-employment screening.
