We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team at MasterCorp, Inc. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping professionals and ensuring that our resort properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including housekeepers, housemen, and supervisors, to ensure that all units are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Training and Development: Assist in training new housekeepers on our 7-Step Process and coach existing staff to reach productivity standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of clean rooms to ensure that quality standards are met and retrieve housekeepers to address any areas that need to be re-cleaned.
- Inventory Management: Conduct inventory counts, determine inventory needs, and submit purchase requests to maintain a well-stocked and organized storage area.
- Reporting and Communication: Conduct weekly report cards for housekeeping staff and weekly MSI reports for supervisors, and provide feedback to our Executive Housekeepers and Assistant Executive Housekeepers regarding under-performing team members.
- Education and Experience: Minimum two years of progressive responsibility as a Supervisor/Lead Supervisor within MasterCorp or equivalent housekeeping leadership experience.
- Qualifications: Proven track record of driving strong performance, customer service savvy, 3+ years of successful housekeeping management experience in a hotel and/or resort environment, or equivalent degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
