Job Title: Home Health Aide

At Interim Healthcare, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to patients in their homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to provide hands-on personal care, report changes in patient condition, and perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients in their homes, including bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as toileting and elimination, and adequate nutritional intake.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervisors and healthcare teams.
  • Perform simple procedures, such as reading and recording vital signs, and assisting with medication reminders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements:
  • Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • Six (6) months of experience in healthcare or completion of the Office's preceptor program.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of the workforce, both clinical and non-clinical.
  • Able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks or functions.
  • Pass state required criminal and abuse background checks where required.
Working Conditions:

As a Home Health Aide, you will work in patients' homes, which may involve occasional exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and other potentially infectious or hazardous materials. You must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach freely, and frequently lift, reposition, and transfer clients/patients.
