About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Backroom Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise
  • Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor
  • Monitor productivity of the team and coach as necessary
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
Requirements
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills
What We Offer

As a Retail Backroom Coordinator at TJ Maxx, you will enjoy a competitive starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, as well as a range of benefits including associate discount, EAP, smoking cessation, bereavement, 401(k) associate contributions, and more.
