Job Title: Vice President of Unmanned Systems and Countermeasures

Parra Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned executive to lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of our unmanned systems and countermeasure technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of unmanned systems and countermeasure technologies, as well as strong leadership and strategic skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for unmanned systems and countermeasures, driving innovation and technological advancements in unmanned systems and countermeasure capabilities.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineering, research, and operational professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
  • Product Development: Guide the development lifecycle of unmanned systems, from conceptual design to production and deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Countermeasures Strategy: Develop strategies and solutions to counteract emerging threats and adversarial technologies, collaborating with defense and security agencies to understand threat landscapes and requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, military, and industry partners, communicating the value and benefits of the company's UxS and countermeasure solutions.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for UxS and countermeasure projects, allocating resources effectively to ensure project success and financial sustainability.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all UxS and countermeasure systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications, implementing best practices in safety, security, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of experience in unmanned systems, defense technology, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of unmanned systems (aerial, ground, maritime) and countermeasure technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions to technical and operational challenges.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (if required).
