About the Role

We are seeking a Pricing Strategy Manager to join our Retail Wireless team, serving our Boost Mobile and Gen Mobile Brands. As a Pricing Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in redefining consumer expectations through new platforms, new business models, and new ways of thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Work closely with senior leadership to define and implement Boost Mobile's pricing strategy.
    • Align pricing initiatives with broader company goals and market trends.
    • Develop, manage, and execute cross-functional pricing initiatives to support growth in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
  • Pricing Analysis & Insights
    • Analyze market data, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share.
    • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for price adjustments, promotional offerings, and new product pricing strategies.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pricing team, including pricing reviews, updates, and communication.
    • Streamline pricing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the execution of price changes and promotions.
    • Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, product, sales) to ensure alignment on pricing initiatives.
  • Executive Reporting & Leadership Support
    • Prepare detailed pricing reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting key performance metrics, opportunities, and risks.
    • Support senior leadership in preparing for meetings with external partners, including OEMs (e.g., Apple, Samsung).
    • Drive the agenda for leadership meetings, and ensure follow-through on key decisions and action items.
  • Cross-Functional Project Management
    • Lead cross-functional projects related to pricing, collaborating with teams across product, marketing, and finance to ensure successful execution.
    • Act as a key point of contact for strategic pricing initiatives, ensuring all teams are aligned with goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Consulting & Advisory Role
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Director of Pricing and senior leaders by providing market insights, competitive analysis, and strategic guidance.
    • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the pricing function, recommending innovative solutions to drive performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in pricing strategy, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably within the wireless, telecommunications, or consumer electronics industries.
  • Proven experience in negotiating with hardware manufacturers or service providers.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytical software tools.
