Job Summary:
As a Volunteer Non-Clinical Assistant at VHP Community Health Center, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and staff. Your tasks will vary depending on project deadlines and ongoing needs within the department. You may be responsible for administrative tasks, projects assigned by the Departmental Volunteer Coordinator, and other miscellaneous office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients in navigating between practices
Support the VHP Financial Counseling team
Retrieve mail and perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
High School Diploma, preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish required)
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, required
Ability to navigate through different practices to retrieve correspondence
Knowledge of Community Health Centers, preferred
Administrative experience, preferred

Clearance Requirements:
Provide two satisfactory references from nonfamily members for Adult Volunteers, or a satisfactory reference from a school for a youth volunteer
Provide a receipt of an acceptable Pennsylvania criminal history check, Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI fingerprinting
Show proof that Tuberculosis test has been done in the last year
Show proof of Influenza Immunization (if volunteering between October-April)
Sign a confidentiality agreement
